Noxious Weeds

The County Noxious Weeds Department works to identify, manage, and control invasive and noxious weed species that threaten agriculture, natural resources, wildlife habitat, and private and public lands. Through education, prevention, and coordinated control efforts, the department helps protect the county’s environmental health and economic vitality. The department’s goal is to protect productive lands, preserve native ecosystems, and reduce the long-term impacts of invasive plant species across the county.
